Hi Mark - we picked the boards
up as planned, they looked brilliant and we could not have
been more pleased. Got out that same afternoon in messy surf
and we both got up first time and had a great time.
We managed to damage one of the boards that afternoon and
Steve was kind enough to fix it! It was a freaky accident
involving a little finger and the rail saver on the leash!
Anyway - I managed five days out of six and Leona three (as
her board was in dry dock), and we got so many more rides
than we were expecting. Really nice to have our own boards
and they have been widely admired, especially at the surf
shop we frequent in Westward Ho. People were really keen on
the cloth inlay and the overall quality of finish and the
shaping. (we're no experts so we'll take their views as
meaning the boards are great!)
We're back to surf in two weeks and can't wait.
