Just thought I'd leave some feedback for you and Steve on the quad I picked up at the weekend.

 

I headed up to Croyde for its maiden voyage but the longboarding wave at Saunton was too good to miss out on so the quad stayed in its bag. The next day though was ideal, being about 2ft and a fairly steep takeoff, exactly the conditions I bought the board for.

After longboarding all weekend it normally takes me a little while to get my shortboarding head on but with the new quad the transition was seamless and I was working the waves from the very first one. The extra buoyancy made the surfing that much easier giving me more time to think about what I was going to do on the wave, I really think my surfing has improved because of it.
